The Mules play at home

The steps below Founders Library filled before the whistle. The match was close, and the crowd stayed.

Home rugby draws students from all four houses. Football has the larger crowd in good weather, but the rugby pitch sits directly below the hall. Dock, the college mule, stood on the sideline in a plain blanket, handled by a junior from Butter Hill who has held the assignment since the spring.

The match was closely contested. Afterward members of the Quad Club gathered on the library steps, as they do on most home Saturdays.
